Jersey City Ballet Theater is a professional civic ballet company located in Jersey City, New Jersey, dedicated to both classical and contemporary ballet performances. Our diverse group of dancers and neighborhood partnerships bolster our community impact.

Now in our 11th year, we continue to offer artists opportunities for growth and collaboration and engae the local community through education, outreach, and performances.

We present engaging, affordable performances using diverse music that appeals to newcomers and ballet enthusiasts. Our expanding repertoire and collaborations, including with the Garden State Philharmonic, support our mission to preserve and advance ballet as an accessible and relevant art form.

The school of Jersey City Ballet offers exceptional dance training. Along with performance credits, our faculty hold certificates and degrees in ballet pedagogy from renowned institutions such as the Bolshoi and the American Ballet Theatre Training program
