Who We Are: Jersey City Ballet Theater is an emerging non profit ballet company bringing professional performances and dance training to the community of Hudson County and beyond.

Our Mission

To preserve the art, tradition, and history of classical ballet and offer ballet performances to a wide range of audiences.

To keep ballet dance relevant and timely by creating opportunities for new works by emerging choreographers and performing artists.

To establish a school that trains students of all ages in ballet and the related arts.

To create a diverse community of educators, dancers, and artists.

To be a center for creativity and make dance accessible to community residents of all ages and dancers of all levels.

To help dancers remain current in the ever-changing landscape of the arts.
