
Miranda Bishop

Biography
Miranda began her training at the Atlantic City Ballet under Phyllis Papa. After that, Miranda was accepted into The Rock School for Dance Education on a partial scholarship. While studying in Philadelphia, Miranda was hired as an apprentice the Ballet Fleming. Miranda was accepted into Steps On Broadway’s Conservatory program for ballet and contemporary dance in 2015.
She has had the opportunity to dance with Buglisi Dance Theater and Brooklyn Ballet. She also coproduced and performed in a ballet and aerial show called "Spellbound" at The Cutting Room in 2018. Miranda used the time during the pandemic to create dance films since live performance were not an option. Her film "Isolation," was featured at the Atlantic City Arts Foundation's annual 48 Blocks event in 2020.
In September 2021, she choreographed and performed in "Blue Moon" for the Fertile Ground New Works Series at Green Space Studios in Long Island City, NY. Her debut at American Liberty Ballet was in December 2021 as the Sugar Plum Fairy in their school presentations of The Nutcracker.
Presently, she is enjoying creating her own choreography for Catawampus Collective.
