Felicity Audet

JERSEY CITY BALLET THEATER COMPANY

Biography

Felicity received her pre-professional training first at the Indiana Ballet Conservatory, and then later under the tutelage of Natalya Getman and Andrei Bossov at Bossov Ballet Theatre in Maine. Upon graduation, Felicity joined the Louisville Ballet under the direction of Robert Curran, where she danced for two seasons before leaving to pursue her Bachelor of Arts degree at Princeton University. Following her studies, Felicity went on to join Roxey Ballet, where she danced several years before leaving to pursue new artistic and career opportunities.

As a professional performer, Felicity has had the privilege to dance a variety of mixed classical and contemporary repertoire - performing principle and character roles in ballets such as Giselle, Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty, and Carmen in addition to original choreography and established works by contemporary choreographers such as Geroge Balanchine, Val Caniparoli, Adam Hougland, and Mark Morris. After joining Roxey Ballet she has danced in multiple soloist and principal roles, including "Mina" from Dracula, "Snow Queen" and "Dew Drop" from The Nutcracker and "Autumn Fairy" from Cinderella.

In addition to performing, Felicity channels her artistry through choreography, photography, and creative design. In her free time, she enjoys finding ways to combine her creative, artistic, and scholarly passions, and in particular, exploring dance styles stemming from East Asian traditions
