Alexandra Skibinski is a classically trained dancer raised in Charleston, South Carolina. She began her formal dance training at The South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, where she studied under Josée Garant, Miriam Mesa Pelly, Thomas Shoemaker, Irina Ushakova, and Tracy Vogt. She performed in productions such as Les Sylphides, Swan Lake, and La Bayadère, as well as original works by Josée Garant, Thomas Shoemaker, and Tracy Vogt.

In 2019, she earned her BFA in Dance and Performing Arts from New World School of the Arts/University of Florida. During her time in Miami, Alexandra performed works by choreographers including Mark Morris, Paul Taylor, Merce Cunningham, Ohad Naharin, Peter London, and Gerard Ebitz. While in school, she performed in productions by Armour Youth Theatre. 

After graduating, she relocated to New York City to join Rioult Dance NY Repertory Company, performing works by Pascal Rioult. Alexandra has since freelanced and guested with dance companies across New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Minnesota.
