THE DRESS CODE
Our simple dress code allows all students to meet the requirements.
FOR ALL LEVELS
We recommend Capezio shoes, leotards, and tights
No logos, sequins, tutus, costumes
T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and street clothes are not allowed in classes
Ballet shoes are required
Long hair must be pulled back
If a student has bangs or short hair it must be pinned back
Youth ages 7+ hair hair should be in a bun. No ponytails
Braids must be pulled back or secured in a bun
No hair ornamentations
No jewelry of any kind is permitted except for simple stud earrings

CREATIVE BALLET / PRIMARY BALLET (Thursday 4:00 pm / Thursday 4:45 pm / Saturday 9:45 am)
GIRLS: Plain pink leotard.
No skirts, tutus, sequins, or costumes. We prefer no skirt, but a plain pink pull-on ballet skirt may be worn, please no wrap skirts
Pink or flesh-tone ballet shoes. (We recommend “no drawstring ” leather ballet shoes like the Lily Ballet Shoe - Child Style 212C )
Pink or flesh-toned tights or no tights. Shoes and ballet tights should match.
No crowns, tiaras, or decorative headbands.
BOYS: Plain white T-Shirt.
Black dance shorts, leggings, or tights.
White socks.
Black ballet shoes.
All YOUTH BALLET and BALLET BASICS
Girls: Plain black short-sleeved leotard, no skirts.
Ballet B, any style black leotard.
Pink or flesh-tone tights.
Pink or flesh-tone ballet shoes. Shoes and tights must match.
No crowns, tiaras, or decorative headbands.
Plain warm-up shorts and sweaters with no logos or patterns in pink or black are acceptable.
BOYS: Plain white T-Shirt.
Black dance shorts, leggings, or tights and white socks.
Black ballet shoes.
YOUTH MODERN/CONTEMPORARY
GIRLS: Plain black tank or short-sleeved leotard.
Black convertible tights.
Boys: Plain white or black T-Shirt.
Black dance shorts, tights, or leggings.
